The ST-31 provides excellent 2G open-root welding practice on both plate and pipe, while also incorporating valuable fillet weld and corner-joint training and testing.

A generic blueprint for layout and tack-up is included with the purchase of this project.

Optional Hydrostatic Testing

The ST-31 may be used by qualified instructors or professionals to conduct hydrostatic testing as part of weld training or evaluation. WelderMade does not manufacture, inspect, certify, or approve the completed welded assembly for pressure service and does not provide a pressure rating for the completed project.

The integrity and pressure capacity of the completed assembly depend on the user's welding, fabrication, inspection, test equipment, test pressure, and testing procedures, all of which are outside WelderMade's control.

Any pressure testing is performed solely at the user's discretion and risk and should be conducted only by qualified personnel using appropriate procedures, equipment, and safety precautions. WelderMade makes no representation or guarantee regarding the pressure-holding capability of any completed student or customer-welded project.
